Pre-debate fun facts about Paul Ryan

- Paul Ryan has promised to take away guaranteed insurance coverage for birth control without a co-pay “on day one,” a key economic concern for many women.
- Paul Ryan co-sponsored the “Let Women Die” Act [emphasis mine], which would allow hospitals that receive federal funds to deny a woman an abortion under any circumstance — even when an abortion is necessary to save a woman’s life.
- Just last year, Paul Ryan co-sponsored a bill with Todd Akin that would redefine rape to deny some women access to abortion coverage.
Also, yesterday in Ohio, Mitt Romney said, “I’m a pro-life candidate and I’ll be a pro-life president. The actions I’ll take immediately are to remove funding for Planned Parenthood.”
