June 2011
I definitely try to strive for equality between my heroes and heroines. That’s much sexier to me than chest-thumping alpha males and cringing, shrieking females.
I’m constantly inspired. There are always stories going on in my head! Since I enjoy writing historical romance so much, I can always find details from history that spark my imagination.
Ooh, I hope you guys had a good time! This will be my first time signing! I’m looking forward to it. Also, next year is going to be in Anaheim, and then in 2013, it will be in Atlanta. Hope to see you at one of these!
Tomorrow I fly to En Why Cee for the National Romance Writers conference! Four days of non-stop activity—panels, meetings, parties. And, of course, the big award ceremony. Cross your fingers for me. But even if REBEL doesn’t win Best Paranormal Romance, being nominated is awesome, and it gave me an excuse to buy a purty dress.
If you live in the New York City area, be sure to stop by the massive author signing on Tuesday, June 28, from 5:30-7:30 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. Myself and HUNDREDS of romance authors will be signing books, and all proceeds go to a local literacy charity.
I repeat: Eeeee!
