Dame Maggie will not tolerate your bullshit.
Love this image
Mostly for the extremely cool device the fellow is using. So THAT’s where steampunk comes from…

Romance novels on Jezebel
I’ve been thinking about writing a post for Jezebel.com about romance novels and romance novel publishing. Is there some aspect of romance novels that Jez readers, would be most interested in learning about? Myths debunked (or bunked)? Insider info you’ve been longing to know? I’m open to suggestions. P.S. My books don’t look like this one.
STFU, Toyota Highlander Boy
brutallyhonestbabes:
I loathe these new Highlander commercials I keep seeing, wherein a little blonde boy makes shitty observations about inferior cars. They’re classist, obnoxious, and, frankly, make me never want to buy a Toyota.
FYI, you bratty advertorial character: I’d rather be in the car where they’re singing “Angel of the Morning.” That song is awesome. If I ever finally get to have...
These bags will make you a supermarket rock star. →
He’s not kidding, people. Every time we use them, at least one person comments on these bags. Every. Time.
So disappointed
So disappointed to come home from a late evening out and find that the cats haven’t made us French toast. What the hell do we pay you for?

Downton Abbey Mystery
Got a slightly NSFW spoilerish question about #DowntonAbbey. Who thinks that when the Turkish dude said he’d keep Mary’s v-card intact, he planned on using the service entrance?

Hey GG Viewers
Who has a picture of Joseph Gordon Levitt on the red carpet? I have some friends (seriously, I do!) who would very much enjoy a picture of him in his tuxedo.
drcatsandscience asked: Hi! I was pointed your way by Beezus, who, together with Scarygodmother, suggested I buy your books. Which, I did, as Beezus has yet to steer me wrong! Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself. I am Dorilys on Jezebel (I hear you hang out on there as well). I'm a grad student in Genetics and I post lots of photos of my cats.

@beezusishere
Hey Beezus, I can’t seem to figure out this Tumblr business, so I’m posting my answer to your question here… Anyway, for PNR Romance, I’ve been huffing quite happily on the Kresley Cole Immortals After Dark series crackpipe. It took me a little getting used to her style, but when I finally settled in, I found myself really enjoying the books. Ava Gray’s Skin...
dnwinchester-deactivated2012081 asked: Hello, Miss Archer! so yesterday you recommended a really cool book. Mind giving me some other recs? Not necessarily romance, either, just books you think are awesome, and if you read any YA, please tell me! :) thanks.

Roaring Twenties Romance →
It’s not an uncommon complaint that lately, there isn’t much variety in historical romance. For over a decade, the genre saw mainly Regency-era romances on the shelves. But the times, they are a-changin’. Romance authors are branching out into Georgian-era romance, Victorian romance, romance set in Ancient Rome and Bronze Age Britain. And now, finally, finally, the Twentieth...
Coming soon (and the book, too)
My sci-fi romance, Collision Course, will be coming out on April 11 from Carina Press. No cover art yet (rats!) or ISBN, but I do have the blurb for all your blurby goodness.
